Heartwood Visuals creates studio illustrations (digital, ink and watercolor, or a hybrid of the two) with a focus on projects striving to communicate complex science and tell conservation stories. These illustrations have been used as figures in scientific publications, scientific journal cover art, illustrations in books, communication materials for conferences, strategic plan visuals, logos for community engagement projects, website visuals and social media posts.
